A bomb went of at Muna Garage in the Maiduguri area of Borno state.
According to Sahara Reporters, the bomb exploded in the bus garage around 9 pm on Wednesday, November 23. Detail of the attack is still sketchy although Boko Haram terrorists are suspected to have carried it out.
Victor Isuku who is the spokesperson of the Borno state police command confirmed that two people died in the attack. He said:
“About 2106hrs of 23/11/2016, an explosion occurred at Muna Garage along Gamboru-Ngala Road, Maiduguri. Two persons including the suicide bomber died on the spot.”
A suicide bomber has been gunned down by vigilant Nigerian security operatives in Maiduguri, Borno state. According to PR Nigeria, the suicide bomber attempted to penetrate a Transit Camp of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) along Muna Garage.
